Massage Parlor Raid in Huntington Station: Two Arrested on Felony ‘Unauthorized Practice’ Charges

Suffolk police raided Hermosa Foot Spa in Huntington Station after complaints and arrested two employees on felony unauthorized-practice charges.

Suffolk County Police today arrested two employees for unauthorized practice of a profession during a massage parlor raid in Huntington Station.
 
In response to community complaints, Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Investigative Unit officers, in conjunction with the Town of Huntington Fire Marshal and Ordinance Inspector’s office, conducted an investigation into Hermosa Foot Spa, and arrested two employees.
 
Xiumei Wang, 50, of Flushing, Queens, and Yasong Albert, 47, of Seaford, were both charged with Unauthorized Practice of a Profession, a Class E Felony.
 
The Town of Huntington issued several violations to the business and is conducting a further investigation into the business. Wang and Albert were both issued Desk Appearance Tickets and are scheduled to appear in First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
