Kerry Elmasry, a licensed aesthetician, has recently relocated to Dr. Lyle Leipziger's office in Great Neck. Dr. Leipziger, chief of plastic surgery at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center, is pleased that patients will now be able to avail themselves of the wide range of aesthetic services she offers. "With Kerry's extensive training, excellent credentials and fine reputation as an expert in her field, we are delighted to welcome her to our office," Dr. Leipziger said. "This is a wonderful opportunity, and I'm thrilled to be here," Ms. Elmasry said. "Previously, many of my clients in the Great Neck - Manhasset area traveled to Huntington to see me. This location will be much more convenient for them." Ms. Elmasry, who completed much of her aesthetic training in Europe, has more than a decade of experience in the field. She has worked in various skin care institutes, cosmetic surgery practices and medi-spas on Long Island and in Manhattan. In Dr. Leipziger's office, she will offer a wide range of skin care treatments, including facials, hydroxy peels, microdermabrasion, body peels, waxing, and other body treatments. In addition, she will offer the latest intense pulsed light (IPL) technique for photofacials, which treats skin discolorations and other imperfections for a clearer, rejuvenated complexion. IPL is also used for hair removal. Ms. Elmasry will provide makeup services, as well, including camouflage makeup following surgery. A New York State esthetics license examiner, Ms. Elmasry has participated in training seminars and demonstrations for medical staff and aestheticians. She is a member of the Society for Professional Skin Care Consultants.
