Suffolk County Police today arrested a woman for unauthorized practice of a profession and prostitution during a massage parlor raid in Huntington Station.
In response to community complaints, Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Investigative Unit officers, in conjunction with the Town of Huntington Fire Marshal and Ordinance Inspector’s office, conducted an investigation into The Spot, located at 523 East Jericho Turnpike and arrested one employee.
Song Wha Jang, 52, of Floral Park, was charged with two counts of Unauthorized Practice of a Procession, a felony, and two counts of Prostitution, a misdemeanor.
The Town of Huntington issued several violations to the business. Jang was issued a Desk Appearance Ticket and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
