No Parents Allowed: Kids Clubs & Organizations on Long Island

Written by Kelly Tenny  |  13. January 2015

If you’ve never considered enrolling your child into a club or organization geared towards kids, then maybe you should consider it! Kids clubs and organizations provide kids with great opportunities to meet other kids their age, provide a safe environment to socialize in, and an outlet for creativity, athleticism, and other skills. The programs at the Boys & Girls Clubs, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and other similar agencies, also stress character development which is important to address between starting kindergarten and finishing high school.

These programs provide a positive place for kids to go to learn, find motivation, meet lifelong friends, develop a positive attitude and learn to become productive people in society and within the local community.

Many of these clubs and organizations also offer after school programs, tutoring programs, and training for the job world.
