The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Fatal Vehicular Accident that occurred on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 7:26 AM in Hicksville.
According to Detectives, a 21-year-old male was operating a 2022 Kawasaki motorcycle eastbound on Old Country Road where he was in a collision with a 2018 yellow school bus being operated by a 66-year-old male, transporting twenty-eight students. The operator of the motorcycle was transported to a local area hospital where he was pronounced by a hospital
physician. No other injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
