What do you do....

...If they've got a wedding ring! Thats right, a wedding ring. I recieved a question from someone who wants to be known only as "Mrs. X". "I'm 22 and I recently met a great guy and we have so much fun spending time together - But I just found out that he's married. He's 25, and I haven't fooled around with him yet, but there have been points where it could've gone to that point. I don't want to stop spending time with him, but I don't want to be a homewrecker. It just bothers me cause I thought he could've been the one." Ok, well My first instinct is to tell you to RUN! Married men (as far as I'm concerned) are OFF LIMITS! He might be a great guy, and someone you can talk to, but the fact that you mentioned fooling around only indicates to me that he at one point might have felt the same way. Its natural for Men to have sexual instincts towards the opposite sex, and the fact that he's still young says one thing - that sex is all he thinks about; but He is married and if he's having problems with his marriage let him work them out with his wife, not through you. I can't tell you how many women stay with a married man because he tells them he loves them, and wants to be with them not their wife. I've had friends go through this; But all that happens in the end is them clearing things up with their wife and you being heart-broken. And besides, Once a cheater always a cheater right? Whose to say he doesn't do the same thing to you? I know it might be hard, but friendship is the ONLY relationship you should have with this guy - and I even have a hard time telling you that. It might be hard but that's what life is about. And as far as I'm concerned you're only 22 - don't put any pressure on yourself to find "Mr. Right" you still have time. And remember its always good to have friends. Thats my advice.....Questions? E-Mail Singles@LongIsland.com
