Nassau County in southeastern New York... * until 445 PM EDT. * At 338 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to a line of thunderstorms moving quickly east across the advisory area. Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots. * Some locations that will experience flooding include... Islip, Brentwood, Levittown, Freeport, Valley Stream, Commack, Long Beach, Huntington Station, Deer Park, Lindenhurst, Glen Cove, Plainview, Garden City, Massapequa and Hauppauge.
