to feature in the LongIsland.com eNews, a free weekly newsletter sent to
thousands of subscribers in the Long Island, NY area.
If your site is chosen as Long Island's Web Site of the Week,
you will become famous, earn the respect of your peers and
have weatlh beyond your wildest imaginations! Well, we like to
think so, but we don't guarantee that. Chances are good that lots
of people will check out your website.

HERE ARE A FEW GUIDELINES FOR CONSIDERATION:
- Your Web site must be Long Island, NY based - no exceptions!
- Your site must be live - sites under construction will not be considered.
- One application is permitted per Web site, per year.
- We keep information on file for one year, so your site may be picked next week, next month, etc.
- There are only 52 weeks in a year, so you may apply again next year if your site is not selected.
- We are extremely bias...we like sites that are friends of LongIsland.com

- We are looking for Web sites of general interest.
Well designed, good functionality and content is king.
- A reviewer will visit your site. If chosen, your site will be featured in our newsletter.
We will notify you, send the Official Web Site of the Week Award (small button logo)
and instruction for placement on your Web site. Final decision is based on editor's choice.
- Sign up for our Free eNewsletter so you know if your site is a winner,
besides it's got cool information about Long Island.
- We reserve the right to change the rules. Please check back here
for changes or amendments to these rules.
