Captain Bills is very popular in the area for serving the best seafood. I have to say that I agree. I tried the Stuffed Long Island Flouder and was in heaven. Great place.

If you are looking for the best seafood in Long Island, then you have found it. Captain Bills is awesome! They offer a large variety of seafood from mussels to lobster. The cost is a bit more than other seafood places, but remember you get what you pay for. Well worth the extra few dollars.

I come to Captain Bills when I want seafood, however, the other foods they serve are nothing great. The prices are a bit pricey but if you are ordering seafood, it is well worth the price.

I really love the seafood here. The servers are just average but the shrimp is amazing. If you want seafood, this is the best place in Long Island.

Any time I want salmon I come to Captain Bills. No place can create some great tasting salmon that actually melts in your mouth.

Captain Bills is the place for seafood in Long Island. You can never go wrong with any dish they serve. I have been coming here since the restaurant opened and have brought many friends here. We all agree if you love seafood, then you will love Captain Bills.

The food here is a bit more expensive than a few of the other seafood restaurants in the area. However, you will never find a better place to eat with the entire family. The ambience is absolutely breath taking and all the dishes are amazing.

The only place in Long Island to get the best tasting mussels. If you love seafood, then you have to come here. You will not be disappointed. Bring the whole family including the kids.

We choose the buffet menu for our parents wedding anniversary and had the largest waterfront room. The entire evening was truly magical. We could not have made a better choice. Everything was amazing.

I really enjoy coming here as I can get fresh local fish as well as other mouth watering seafood. My boyfriend prefers the steaks and told me that this is the only place that can prepare a steak that is perfect. You must try Captain's Bill, you will be very pleased.

If you love good food and beautiful scenery, then Captain Bills is the place for you. I enjoy watching the boats drift past while eating breakfast. Great prices, awesome staff, good food, and perfect atmosphere.

Sunday Brunch is the best! It's $30 a person, but don't balk at the price. You not only get your pick of croissants, bagels, sausage and other breakfast goodies, but also of salmon and shrimp and other seafood! I've eaten a number of these brunch style buffets in various restaurants in town and I can say there is a wide range. Some are good, others are pretty poor, and some are fantastic. This place falls squarely inside the "fantastic" territory. They only give you the highest quality foods, so I totally recommend checking it out sometime. Bring a friend - you'll be sure to impress anyone who come with you!

If you're visiting LI, stop in at Captain Bill's! This was probably the most memorable restaurant I ate at during my LI vacation. We were in town for a couple of weeks doing an extended stay, something we'd planned for years. I remember Captain Bill's because they do seafood and they do it very, very well, and the restaurant is located along the dockside where you can watch the boats go by and enjoy the sea breeze of the harbor. It's basically everything I always envisioned about Long Island in one place. The bill was surprisingly low. Do not miss out!

I love to sit here and watch the boats go by. I'd spent a lot of time at the harbor before I decided to try Captain Bill's. But one day I just couldn't resist the delicious smell wafting out from the restaurant. I thought that it might be expensive but it wasn't too bad at all. I had loved the tuna I ordered, and though the service seemed a tad slow, I could forgive that given that it was a busy day at the docks. I foresee many more delicious meals at Captain Bill's in the future. It'll be hard to walk past it now that I know it tastes as good as it smells.

If you love seafood but you hate LI prices, then you should check out Captain Bill's restaurant. Whereas you are probably used to paying $30 for a seafood entree at most restaurants on the island, here you're looking at about half that for awesome quality. Is it gourmet? Maybe not, but it's gourmet enough for me. Their dishes always leave me feeling totally satisfied and I have enjoyed every single dish I have ever ordered here. These guys are experts at cooking up fish right, and you'll never order fish only to be disappointed because it's overcooked. Falls apart in your mouth. Never tough or chewy. I will be back here often!

Food is just slightly more expensive than I would like given the quality - which is very good, but still not what I'd usually want to pay $15 for. Then again ... most seafood restaurants on LI charge twice that, and their food isn't much better, so I have to admit that Captain Bill's is probably one of the better deals in town. I've never had a dinner here I didn't love. The fish is always perfectly prepared, never chewy.
Ambiance is awesome. You're right on the harbor, and you don't have to dress up to come here. In terms of atmosphere, this place sits squarely between fine dining and casual dining (just like the prices). You can feel comfortable coming here for a nice date or for a casual lunch with friends.

After church our adult class loves taking some time out and enjoying the food at Captain Bills. The food is always great, the ambience is quiet, and we enjoy chatting about our week ahead. Thank you for your service and wonderful omelet bar. I love it.
