New Cassel, NY - December 23rd, 2014 - Third Squad detectives are investigating a Robbery that occurred on Monday, December 22, 2014 at 10:55 pm in New Cassel.
According to detectives, the victim, a male taxi cab driver, received a fare and responded to 3 Dogwood Lane. A male black subject entered the cab, displayed a black handgun, pressed it against the victim’s head and demanded his wallet. After obtaining the wallet the subject left the cab and was last seen on foot towards the Park Avenue Elementary School.
The uninjured victim could only describe the subject as having a thin build who was wearing a ski mask over his face.
