Man Found Dead in Car in Coram

Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances regarding the death of a man found in a car on a Coram road this morning.

Coram, NY - December 23, 2014 - Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances regarding the death of a man found in a car on a Coram road this morning.

Sixth precinct officers responded to a call near the intersection of Coram-Swezeytown Road and Mount Sinai-Coram Road at approximately 9:20 a.m.  When the officers arrived, they discovered the body of a man inside a black 2000 Infinity Q45. The man appeared to be a victim of violence and the cause of death is under investigation. The victim, whose identification is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
