18 Year Old Arrested for Using Counterfeit One Hundred Dollar Bills at Lord and Taylor

Manhasset, NY - December 20, 2014 - The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Brooklyn woman for Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 6:30 P.M. in Manhasset.

According to detectives, Neavonie Sutton, 18, of 323 Thomas Boyland Street, Apt. 3 entered Lord and Taylor located at 1440 Northern Boulevard and used four counterfeit one hundred dollar bills as payment for a coat.  An investigation revealed the defendant was in possession of six more counterfeit one hundred dollar bills.  She was placed under arrest without incident.

Sutton is charged with ten counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument and will be arraigned on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at First District Court in Hempstead.
