Mangano And Schaefer Announces Restoration Of Glen Cove Road

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano and Legislator Laura Schaefer today announced that Glen Cove Road, in Carle Place, is being resurfaced as a part of “Operation Restore Our Roadways.”

Resurfacing of Glen Cove Road will be completed the week of December 14th, weather permitting.

Carle Place, NY - December 11, 2015 - Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano and Legislator Laura Schaefer today announced that Glen Cove Road, in Carle Place, is being resurfaced as a part of “Operation Restore Our Roadways.”

The Glen Cove Road milling and resurfacing project takes place from Jericho Turnpike to Westbury Avenue. The resurfacing of Glen Cove Road will be completed the week of December 14th, weather permitting.

“Thousands of residents and visitors travel Glen Cove Road every day,” said County Executive Mangano. “Improving Glen Cove Road will benefit the many businesses and residential communities that call this road home.”

“I am very happy to see our County Executive and Department of Public Works continue to work hard to improve and maintain our infrastructure in Carle Place and throughout Nassau County. It’s so important to keep our roads in good condition so that we can do what we need to in our daily lives without worrying about hazardous conditions or damage to our vehicles,” said Legislator Schaefer.
