Update, 1/24/14 - Suffolk County Police today arrested Sean Farrell for killing his mother in their home, located at 5 Norway Pine Drive, Medford, on December 9, 2013. Homicide Section detectives charged Farrell with Murder 2nd Degree. He will be held overnight at the 5th Precinct. Farrell, 24, is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on January 24.
Medford, NY - December 10th, 2013 - Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the murder of a 45-year-old woman in Medford.
Fifth Precinct police officers were called to a home located at 5 Norway Pine Drive after Eric Connelly, 47, found his wife, Bonnie Farrell, 45, dead in the bedroom of their home. Farrell had suffered a head injury and was pronounced dead at the scene. She was taken to the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner where an autopsy will be performed.
