Mount Sinai, NY - December 9, 2014 - On Sunday, December 7, Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker joined The Mount Sinai Heritage Trust and the Mount Sinai Fire Department for the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting at Mt. Sinai Heritage Park. Residents gathered at the park and enjoyed hot chocolate, holiday cookies, Christmas carols and a visit from Santa Clause, who did the honors of lighting the tree.

“Our community is fortunate to have wonderful volunteers like the Heritage Trust and Mount Sinai Fire Department members who dedicate their time supporting our neighbors,” said Legislator Anker. “The generous work of our volunteers demonstrates the joy of giving and reminds us of the true holiday spirit.”
