Bellport, NY - December 9th, 2013 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Suffolk County Police Hate Crimes Unit are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person or persons who broke into Mary Immaculate Church in Bellport last month and stole a crucifix.

Between the hours of 7 p.m. on November 25 and 8:30 a.m. on November 26, 2013, an unknown person or persons broke into the church located at 16 Browns Lane, Bellport, and stole a three-inch by five-inch gold crucifix.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
