Update: Arrestes Made - NCPD: Man Wanted for Robbery in Rockville Centre

Update: January 9th, 2014 - The First Squad reports the arrest of Thomas Scanlan, 17, of 67 First Avenue, East Rockaway for the below crime.  Defendant Scanlan was arrested on December 9, 2013 and was charged with 2 counts of Robbery. He was arraigned on December 10, 2013 at First District Court, Hempstead.   On January 8, 2014 detectives arrested Christopher Pilato, 25, of 3349 Murdock Avenue, Oceanside.  Pilato is being charged with 2 counts of Robbery and will be arraigned on January 9, 2014 at First District Court, Hempstead.

Rockville Centre, NY - December 8th, 2013 - The First Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 2:50 p.m. in Rockville Centre.
 
According to detectives, the male victim, 22 years of age, met a male white acquaintance on Shellbank Place. The subject is described as  5’6” tall, short dark buzz cut hair, thin build, approximately 17 years old, driving a White Infinity G37. After a brief conversation two additional male white subjects arrived in Gray Infinity G37. The victim began to run, but was stopped by all three subjects in the rear of a home on Shellbank Place. The subjects punched the victim and removed his I-Phone and an unknown amount of cash, which was later recovered in the yard. The second subject is described as male white,  5’8” tall, stocky build, 18-24 years old,  the third subject is a male white, 5’9” tall, medium build, 18-24 years old. The victim suffered minor injuries, but refused medical attention at the scene.
