Hempstead, NY - December 2, 2016 - The Village of Hempstead recently celebrated and honored local veterans during a Veterans’ Luncheon. While senior citizens enjoy lunch in Kennedy Park, the American Bombshells serenaded them with classic songs.

The American Bombshells serve as ambassadors of America's gratitude to our nation’s heroes. The song-and-dance team travels the world lifting morale and providing patriotic entertainment to wounded warriors, active duty military, veterans and proud Americans.

The event honored the heroics of American veterans who have courageously put their lives on the line in service to the country. Along with entertaining performances by the American Bombshells, the veterans were also be presented with certificates of recognition by the Village of Hempstead Board of Trustees.
