5 Arrested After Search Warrants Uncovered Counterfeit Goods

The Asset Forfeiture Unit reports the arrests of five individuals that occurred on Monday, November 28, 2015 within Nassau County.

Nassau County, NY - November 28, 2016 - The Asset Forfeiture Unit reports the arrests of five individuals that occurred on Monday, November 28, 2015 within Nassau County.

According to detectives, with assistance from ICE Homeland Security Investigations – New York Office and the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office at the completion of a two month investigation into Trademark Counterfeiting, detectives executed numerous legal search warrants for counterfeit designer handbags, scarves, watches and jewelry in excess of over two hundred thousand dollars and arrested the following individuals.

Fern Ciraolo, 53, of Hewlett Harbor on October 28, 2016 and November 9, 2016 did display in her residence and offered for sale counterfeit designer merchandise.  Subsequent to the arrest Justin Ciraolo, 21, same address was found to be in possession of numerous narcotics.  Both defendants were placed under arrest at scene without incident. 

Jack Huzarsky, 74, of Syosset on November 8, 2016 did display in his 2015 Chevrolet Equinox in the rear parking lot of 421 Glen Cove Road, East Hills and offered for sale counterfeit designer merchandise.  Defendant was placed under arrest at residence without incident.

Alyssa Reichel, 49, of North Woodmere on October 13, 2016 and November 11, 2016 did display at Ego Trip inside the Cheveux Day Spa and Salon located at 964 Broadway, Woodmere and offered for sale counterfeit designer merchandise.  Defendant was placed under arrest at residence without incident.

Elsa Bonilla, 31, of Westbury on October 28, 2016 and November 11, 2106 did display at ELSY Salon located at 179B School Street, Westbury and offered for sale counterfeit designer merchandise.  Defendant was placed under arrest at her place of business without incident.

Fern Ciraolo was charged with two counts of Counterfeiting 2nd degree and was issued a Desk Appearance Ticket returnable on December 21, 2016 at First District Court in Hempstead.

Huzarsky was charged with Counterfeiting 2nd degree and was issued a Desk Appearance Ticket returnable on January 6, 2017 at First District Court in Hempstead. 

Reichel was charged with two counts of Counterfeiting 2nd degree and was issued a Desk Appearance Ticket returnable on December 21, 2016 at First District Court in Hempstead.

Bonilla was charged with four counts of Counterfeiting 2nd degree and was issued a Desk Appearance Ticket returnable on December 20, 2016 at First District Court in Hempstead. 

Justin Ciraolo was charged with four counts Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree and Criminal Possession Marihuana 4th degree.  He will be arraigned on November 29, 2016 at First District Court in Hempstead.
