Nassau County PD: Two Men Attempt to Rob Hempstead Bank of America

Hempstead, NY - November 29th, 2013 - The Robbery Squad is investigating a Robbery (Attempt) that occurred on Friday, November 29, 2013 at 11:57 a.m. in Hempstead.
 
According to detectives, a male black subject, in his mid 20’s, approximately 5’8” tall, wearing a black winter cap, sunglasses, black jacket and pants, entered the Bank Of America, located at 730 Fulton Avenue. The subject showed a demand note to a female teller. As the teller stepped back the subject fled the bank on foot in an unknown direction. There were four employees and one customer present at the time of the incident. There were no injuries reported.
