Holbrook Man Arrested for Breaking Into Multiple Vehicles in Stony Brook

Suffolk County Police today arrested a man for stealing items from multiple cars in Stony Brook this morning.

Stony Brook, NY - November 28th, 2013 - Suffolk County Police today arrested a man for stealing items from multiple cars in Stony Brook this morning.
 
Paul Lewis entered four unlocked vehicles located at Barker Drive and Barnwell Drive between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. and stole items including electronics and jewelry.
 
An alert resident called 911 and Officers Mark Grubbs and Todd Bradshaw tracked Lewis to 58 Barker Drive, Stony Brook, where he was staying with friends. Residents of the house turned over numerous stolen items to the officers. He was arrested at 10:45 a.m.
 
Lewis, 20, of Holbrook, was charged with four counts of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property. Lewis is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on November 29.
