Maribel Arroliga-Morales, 38, of Queens, arrested for Grand Larceny while employed as housekeeper at Long Island homes. Detectives request anyone who may have been a victim to contact the Fourth Squad at 516-573-6453.

Lynbrook & East Rockaway, NY - November 19, 2016 - The Fourth Squad reports the arrest of a Queens woman for Grand Larceny that occurred in Lynbrook and East Rockaway.

According to detectives, defendant Maribel Arroliga-Morales, 38, of Queens was employed as a housekeeper for several families in Lynbrook, East Rockaway and Rockville Centre.

Between October 1, 2016 and November 17, 2016 the defendant stole a bracelet from her Lynbrook employer valued at $1100. On November 11, 2016 an East Rockaway victim noticed two (2) rings (valued over $15,000) and US currency missing.  This victim contacted other friends who used the defendant as a housekeeper to check their belongings.  It was discovered that the stolen ring from the above victim was replaced by the defendant to the wrong owner and house.  The victims’ notified police and on Friday, November 18, 2016 defendant Arroliga-Morales was placed under arrest at 7:20 pm at Nassau County Police Department - Fourth Precinct, Hewlett.

The defendant is being charged with Grand Larceny 3rd Degree, Grand Larceny 4th Degree and Petit Larceny.  She will be arraigned on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at First District Court, Hempstead.
