Uniondale, NY - November 20th, 2014 - The First Squad is investigating an assault that occurred on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. in Uniondale.
According to detectives, First Precinct Officers responded to Clinton Avenue for a call for shots fired. Upon their arrival the officers discovered a male victim suffering from a minor gunshot wound in the vicinity of Davis Avenue and Clinton Avenue. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injury. Northern Parkway Elementary school was locked down for approximately one hour due to its close proximity to the original assignment. The investigation is ongoing.
