Nassau County PD: Queens Man Nabbed in Bellerose Terrace Robbery

Bellerose Terrace, NY - November 14th, 2013 - The Third Squad reports the arrest of a Queens man for a Robbery that occurred at 11:00pm on September 27, 2013 in Bellerose Terrace.

According to Detectives, defendant Patrick Mars, 21, of Queens and a subject not yet arrested, did approach three sixteen year old males while they were walking on 238th Street.  The two stated that they were Police Officers and gave verbal commands for the victims to hand over their cell phones and other personal property.  The defendant and accomplice fled the scene in a four door Saturn sedan color green.  No injuries were reported.  The investigation is continuing.

Detectives arrested defendant Patrick Mars in Queens at 12:05pm without incident and is charged with three counts of Robbery 2nd Degree and three counts of Criminal Impersonation 1st Degree.  He will be arraigned on November 14, 2013 in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
