Moriches, NY - November 12, 2014 - Recently, William Floyd Middle School held their second annual community breakfast with elected, community and business leaders to highlight some of the school’s achievements and continue to build upon the school-community partnerships that currently exist. Held in the school library, community leaders enjoyed the sounds of the select choir and heard presentations from students covering various art, science, foreign language and mathematics lessons.

“The theme of the breakfast was ‘Faces of WFMS,’ and the goal is to instill service learning as part of our students’ lives,” said Dr. Eugenia Jackolski, Assistant Principal, William Floyd Middle School. “We encourage students to think about the quality of life in their neighborhoods and to be contributing members of their community.”
