NCPD Crime Stoppers: Two Men Wanted for Attempted Robbery in Uniondale

Uniondale, NY - November 9th, 2013 - The First Squad reports the details of a Robbery which occurred on Saturday, November 09, 2013 at 12:05 A.M. in Uniondale.
 
According to detectives, a male victim, 24, walking northbound on Uniondale Avenue at the intersection of Macon Place was approached from behind by two males.  One of the males struck the victim with a branch while the other attempted to go through his pockets.  The victim fought off the suspects and ran westbound on Macon Place.  The suspects fled on foot southbound on Amsterdam Avenue.  No property was taken.  The victim suffered a small laceration and declined medical assistance at the scene.  The suspects are described as male blacks in their twenties, one 5’ 8” tall, 200 lbs wearing black clothes and a blue wool hat, the other 5’ 6” tall, 150 lbs. wearing a black jacket.
