Roslyn, NY - November 9, 2016 - A ribbon cutting ceremony celebrated the opening of the new Trinity Episcopal Church Roslyn Childcare Center on Sunday, Nov. 6th , with many members of the community turning out for the event -- John Durkin, Roslyn Mayor; Wayne Wink, Town of North Hempstead Town Clerk; Margaret Peckham Clark, Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church, Roslyn; Craig Westergard, President of the Roslyn Landmark Society and Marie Catalano-Gruen, Director, Trinity Episcopal Church Roslyn Childcare Center.

“The Village of Roslyn has been very supportive of this project; we are always interested and committed in seeing new projects that can benefit our residents – and are delighted the Center is now open,” said Roslyn Mayor, John Durkin.

This new Trinity Episcopal Church Roslyn Childcare Center, for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old, is conveniently located at 1579 Northern Blvd., Roslyn. It is a place where your child’s spirit will flourish under the guidance of kind, loving and high-qualified teachers. The new Childcare Center offers a year-round program, with hours of operation from 7:30 am- 6:00 pm.  For more information, please call 516-626- 0293.

“As the Town Clerk and a longtime Roslyn resident, I am thrilled to see this new Childcare Center open and available to families in our community, and I was glad to assist and support in the planning for this effort,” said Wayne Wink, North Hempstead Town Clerk.

“We are passionate about children and families at Trinity Roslyn, and are committed to serving our community,” said Margaret Peckham Clark, Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church, Roslyn.  “This new Childcare Center is the culmination of a lot of dreaming and hard work by the parishioners at Trinity and many others including many of the officials we have here today!  I cannot thank them enough.”

“The Trinity Roslyn campus is both a national and state historic landmark, and it is very important that it be used and enjoyed by the community in ways that can sustain it for generations to come!  This Childcare Center represents an exciting and effective way of achieving those goals,” Said Craig Westergard, Roslyn Landmark Society President and Trustee, Village of Roslyn.
 
The Trinity Episcopal Church Roslyn Childcare Center features light and airy rooms and a highly-qualified staff. It welcomes families from all backgrounds and offers flexible and accommodating schedules, for part time and full-time childcare needs.
