Nassau County, NY - November 6, 2016 - Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano and Acting Police Commissioner Thomas C. Krumpter will be taking all steps necessary to ensure the safety of the public during this time of heightened security. There will be intensified patrols at polling locations, public gatherings, houses of worship and near critical infrastructure.

Social media outlets will be intensely monitored and the Department is coordinating with Federal, State and Local authorities while accessing national and local threat levels.

If you see something, say something. If you hear something, say something!
