Update - October 31, 2016 - The investigation by Homicide Squad detectives determined the female victim had suffered a fatal stab wound. As a result of the investigation Warren M. Ducker, 67, of East Norwich, was placed under arrest.
Ducker is charged with Murder 2nd degree. There will be a bedside arraigned in the hospital on Tuesday, November 1, 2016.

Update - October 31, 2016 - Detectives report the victim’s in the below incident reside together at the location. The male has been placed under arrest. Names will be released upon notification to the family.

East Norwich, NY - October 30, 2016 - The Homicide Squad reports the details of a homicide that occurred on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at 1:40 p.m. in East Norwich.
According to detectives, Second Precinct Officers responded to 600 Pine Hollow Road for an aided case. Upon entering the apartment they discovered a female victim who had suffered undisclosed injuries and was pronounced at the scene. There was a male in the apartment at the time and he was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non- life threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
