Nassau County Police Dept: Mineola Man Arrested in Uniondale

Uniondale, NY - October 27th, 2013 - The First Squad reports the arrest of a Mineola man at 12:20am on October 26, 2013 for two incidents that occurred in Uniondale.
 
According to Detectives, defendant Joseph Wood, 73, of 355 Jackson Avenue Mineola  is a counselor for a sober house where he came into contact with the two male victims, ages 31 and 21. On each occasion of September 27 and October 6, 2013   the defendant was alone with one of the victims, began to hug the victim and then proceeded to forcibly touch the victim in a sexual manner.  
 
Defendant Joseph Wood is charged with two counts of Forcible Touching and was arraigned on October 26, 2013 in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
