Long Island, NY - October 26, 2016 - John De Vito, Democratic and Working Families candidate for the New York State Senate’s Third District, released a policy book highlighting 31 policy ideas which could be enacted by the state to make an immediate impact in Long Island’s communities.
In addition to Mr. De Vito’s signature focus on ethics the book lays out his plan to lower taxes on the middle class, and close loopholes which allow corporate developers to escape paying property taxes.
He also urges the implementation of a Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion program to free up funds for increased opioid addiction rehabilitation programs.
