Town of Brookhaven, NY - October 21, 2015 - On Tuesday October 20th, 2015, the New York State Police Barracks in Riverside conducted an Underage Drinking Enforcement Operation in the Town of Brookhaven. During the operation three retail establishments were cited for selling alcoholic beverages to an undercover State Police operative.

Arrested and charged with Unlawful Dealing with a Child in the Second Degree and Prohibited Sale of an Alcoholic Beverage was:

Christine F. Goldstein, age 64, of East Moriches, a clerk at East Moriches Wine & Liquor in East Moriches.
Brian J. Moreira, age 22, of Shirley, a cashier at Handy Pantry in Manorville.
Joseph S. Horbert, age 64, a clerk at Eastport Discount Liquors in Eastport.

The defendants were issued appearance tickets returnable to Suffolk County First Court at a later date.
