Dix Hills Man Arrested for Two Pharmacy Robberies

Suffolk County Police today arrested a Dix Hills man for twice robbing the same CVS pharmacy in Deer Park during the past month.

Deer Park, NY - October 21st, 2013 -  Suffolk County Police today arrested a Dix Hills man for twice robbing the same CVS pharmacy in Deer Park during the past month.

Following an investigation by First Squad detectives, Richard Dombroff surrendered to police at the First Precinct today. Dombroff went into CVS, located at 1944 Deer Park Ave., jumped over the counter, and forcibly stole prescription medication on September 22. Two weeks later, on October 6, Dombroff went into the same CVS and forcibly stole prescription medication.

Dombroff, 22, of 516 Half Hollow Road, was charged with Robbery 1st Degree and Robbery 3rd Degree. Dombroff will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip tomorrow.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
