Another motorcyclist has been charged in the beating of an SUV driver that was caught on video last month. Kaliq Douglas was allegedly one of the men who attacked 33-year-old Alexian Lien, after Lien was dragged from the window of his vehicle during an incident on the Henry Hudson Parkway.

The attack began when a group of motorcyclists surrounded Lien’s car and slowed down. Lien hit the back of one of the motorcyclists, causing the driver to fall. He then fled down the parkway as bikers allegedly closed in on his vehicle, running over at least one of the bikers.

The chase ended in Washington Heights after Lien hit traffic. One of the motorcyclists smashed the driver’s side window of his Range Rover and pulled Lien from the vehicle. His wife and two-year-old daughter were in the car as well, but were not injured.

One of the bikers that were run over by Lien’s SUV was also seriously injured. He suffered two broken legs and a spinal injury.

Douglas is the fifth person being charged in the assault. Douglas, 28 of Brooklyn, is being charged with gang assault and assault with intent to cause serious injury.

After several videos of the attack surfaced on YouTube, police found that five off-duty police officers were part of the group involved in the attack. While not everyone in the group was involved in the beating, at least two officers can be seen on video, and did not intervene in the attack.

Reginald Chance of Brooklyn turned himself in on Friday. In addition to Chance and Douglas, three others were arrested in the assault. Two others were charged with traffic violations, according to Newsday.
