NCPD: Store Robbed in Freeport

Two unknown subjects through a 63-year-old clerk to the ground and took his wallet.

Freeport, NY - October 18, 2014 - The First Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred in Freeport on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 12:16 pm.
 
According to detectives, a 63 year old male was working at Riteway Motors located at 55 Bennington Avenue when he was approached by two unknown subjects wearing black masks. Subject one announced a robbery and threw the victim to the ground. A wallet that contained credit cards, New York State Driver’s license, and an undisclosed amount of US Currency was removed from his left pants pocket. Subject two displayed a silver handgun to the victim.  Both subjects then fled on foot and were last seen running west on Sunrise Highway, There were no injuries reported.
 
Subject one is described as male, black, black shirt, black pants. Subject two is described as male, black, black shirt, and wore blue jeans.
