Patchogue, NY - October 15, 2015 - Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts (PTPA) is proud to present Long Island singer-songwriter and entertainer, Amber Ferrari as the legendary Janis Joplin in "Joplin's Pearl," on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 8 p.m. Ferrari will be joined on stage by special guest guitarist, Randy Jackson of Zebra. Comedian and MC Ike Avelli will open the evening.

Amber Ferrari's hit show, "Joplin's Pearl," takes the audience back in time with music from rock legends Jefferson Airplane, Stevie Nicks, Led Zeppelin, Linda Ronstadt and more, in addition to her own original music. The second half of Ferrari's show is dedicated to the greatest rocker of them all, the legendary Janis Joplin. When Ferrari steps out on stage dressed as Joplin and begins to sing, her resemblance and voice is uncanny to the late Joplin herself. With complete command of their styles and the authenticity of the music, Amber Ferrari and her powerful band are a fine dedication to the legacy of these rock music legends.

Some of Ferrari's credits include: singing the National Anthem for the New York Mets at Shea Stadium; two of her original songs have landed on the Billboard music charts; she opened for music artist Taylor Dayne; and she has performed at the Westbury Music Fair, Atlantic City and Las Vegas casino shows. Amber Ferrari has won "Best of Long Island" for four consecutive years and is nominated for both "Best Singer from Long Island" and "Best Non Cover Band" for 2016.

Tickets for "Joplin's Pearl featuring Amber Ferrari" are available online, by phone or at the box office. Ticket prices range from $20 to $48 plus fee. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Great South Bay Lions Club. For more information on Amber Ferrari, visit PatchogueTheatre.org or AmberFerrari.com.
