Man Killed in Single-Car Crash

A man was killed on North Ocean Avenue in Mt. Sinai.

Mt. Sinai, NY - October 13, 2013 - Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a single-car crash that killed a Mount Sinai man this morning.
 
John Lamberta was driving a 2010 Hyundai southbound on North Ocean Avenue when his vehicle went off the roadway into the woods ¼ mile south of Canal Road in Mount Sinai at approximately 7:05 a.m. Lamberta, 61, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
 
Detectives are asking anyone with information on this crash to call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652.
