Three People Arrested for Selling Alcohol to a Minor

Suffolk County police arrested three people after they were caught selling alcohol to a minor in Coram and Middle Island yesterday.

Coram, NY - October 9th, 2014 - Suffolk County police arrested three people after they were caught selling alcohol to a minor in Coram and Middle Island yesterday.

Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers conducted an investigation into the sale of alcohol to underage patrons at ten establishments and three were found to be in violation.

The following people were charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a Minor 1st Degree:

  • Mohammed Harun, 46, employed by Shell Gas, 809 Route 25, Middle Island
  • Ali Orhan, 21, employed by BP Gas, 366 Route 25, Coram
  • Saner Uzelgock, 26, employed by Gascon, 443 Route 25, Coram

Harun, of Middle Island, Orhan, of Shirley, and Uzelgock, of Coram, were issued a Field Appearance Ticket and are scheduled to appear at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
