Nassau County Police Dept: 2 Men Arrested for Elmont Bank Robbery

NCPD have arrested two men for a bank robbery in Elmont that occurred this June.

Update, October 8th, 2013 - The Robbery Squad reports the arrest of Thomas Gibson, 27, of 171 Linden Boulevard, Brooklyn and Jahvon Bromfield, 23, of 190-08 118 Road St. Albans for the above listed bank Robbery.  Both subjects were arrested on October 8, 2013 and charged with Robbery 2nd, Robbery 3rd and Petit Larceny; they were arraigned in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead on October 8, 2013.                    

Elmont, NY - June 21st, 2013 - The Robbery Squad reports the details of a Bank Robbery which occurred on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 2:20 P.M. in Elmont.


According to detectives, two black males entered the Chase Bank located at 239-39 Linden Boulevard, passed a demand note to a teller and threatened the use of a gun.  The teller complied handing over an undetermined amount of cash before the suspects fled on foot eastbound on Linden Boulevard.  No gun was displayed.  

The first suspect is described as late twenties wearing a white t-shirt, an under shirt with “forever” on the sleeve, white and brown Louis Vuitton belt, red plaid/white/blue high top sneakers and white jeans.  Suspect two is described as in his twenties wearing red hat, white t-shirt and blue jeans.  

Eleven employees and two customers were in the bank at the time of the incident.  No injuries were reported.
