Princess Buttercup came to the TOH Animal Shelter in May 2016 after being abandoned in her former home. She was outside in the yard, with no food, no water and no shelter. Thankfully she was medically okay, and has been up for adoption since, but with no takers! Volunteers are quite puzzled, because Princess Buttercup is an awesome, AWESOME dog! She is a tiny at just 30 pounds, super silly, fun, playful and doesn't have any issues with people near her food. Oh, the best part you ask, Princess Buttercup likes other dogs! Handsome ACE is a 5 year old Border Collie/Cattle Dog who comes to Last Hope from a Virginia shelter. Through no fault of his own, ACE lost his home when his former owner moved from Virginia to another state. He loves to play with toys….and is hoping to have luck finding a forever home on Long Island. Recently ACE was such a good sport at Barkfest at Pet Vet in Massapequa- he even wore a lilac unicorn costume to the event (pictured above). To know ACE is to love him. Come meet ACE today!
