The Suffolk County SPCA is offering a $1000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the killing and mutilation of 4 kittens.

Riverhead, NY - October 3rd, 2013 - The Suffolk County SPCA is offering a $1000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the killing and mutilation of 4 kittens.

Chief Roy Gross of the Suffolk County SPCA said that the kittens were found with their throats slashed in the rear yard of a business on East Main Street in Riverhead.  It appeared that the bodies of the kittens had been thrown over the fence into the yard of the business.

Gross said that anyone with information can call the Suffolk SPCA at 631-382-7722.  All calls will be kept confidential.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
