Great Neck, NY - October 2nd, 2013 - The Narcotics/Vice Bureau report the arrest of a Great Neck man for Narcotics that occurred in Great Neck on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at 9:20 pm.

According to detectives, on August 30, 2013 at 6:30 pm  Stephen M. Hanson, 59, of 15 Canterbury Road did possess and subsequently sell 14 glassine    envelopes containing a substance believed to be Heroin for an agreed sum of US currency. On October 1, 2013 Hanson was placed into custody by detectives in front of his residence by detectives without incident. Members of the CIRRT ( Criminal Intelligence Rapid Response Team ) were able to obtain a consent search and recovered from inside Hanson’s residence 168 glassine bags containing a substance believed to be Heroin and $ 7649.00 in US currency.

Stephen M. Hanson is being charged with four counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree and Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance. He will be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Wednesday, October 02, 2013.
