Nassau County Police Dept.: Two Men Wanted for Valley Stream Armed Robbery

Valley Stream, NY - October 2nd, 2013 - Fourth Squad detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred in Valley Stream on Tuesday, 10/01/13 at 9:35 P.M.

According to detectives, a male Chinese food delivery man, working for King Long Restaurant, was making a food delivery to 53 Marlowe Rd., and was stopped by a male subject who called out from the driveway.  The victim walked towards him and a second subject came out from behind the victim and pointed what appeared to be an AK47 rifle at him and demanded he hand over his money and the food.  The subject had him lay on the ground and searched through his pockets, then fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.  After a few minutes the victim got up and went to his car and saw that the car keys, a Samsung cellular phone, and an undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the vehicle.

No injuries were reported.

The subjects are described as male blacks with thin builds.  Subject #1 was 6’ tall and Subject #2 was 5’10.  No further description is available.
