Rockville Centre, NY - October 1st, 2013 - First Squad detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred in Rockville Centre on Monday, 09/30/13 at 7:35 P.M.

According to detectives, a male victim, 42, while in front of 1000 Hempstead Ave., was approached by two subjects who exited a dark colored vehicle, demanded money and started punching him in the face.  The victim fled and the subjects chased him, forcing him to the ground and removed his wallet from his pocket, containing cash and credit cards.  The subjects then fled in the vehicle in an unknown direction.
No injuries were reported.

The subjects are described as male blacks, 18-22 years of age, 5’6” tall, wearing dark clothing.  Subject #1 was wearing a black hoodie and Subject #2 was wearing a black baseball cap with red lettering.  No further description is available.
