East Meadow, NY - September 29, 2016 - The Nassau County Police Department announces the following road closures for the Diva Run that will take place on Sunday October 2, 2016.
Below is a list of road closures with approximate times.
Approximately 3,000 to 4,000 runners are expected to participate in this year’s race. The 5K Race will begin at 7:45 am and take place entirely within Eisenhower Park. The Half Marathon will begin at 8:05 am. It starts and ends in Eisenhower Park; however the race utilizes public roadways outside of the park.
The Nassau County Police Department is advising that citizens avail themselves of alternate routes and should avoid travel in the area of Eisenhower Park during these hours.
