NCPD reports the arrest of Jonathan Vega of Uniondale, 25, for Unlawful Surveillance that occurred on Friday, June 30, in Garden City.

Garden City, NY - September 25, 2017 - The Garden City Police Department reports the arrest of a Uniondale man for Unlawful Surveillance that occurred on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 12:40 pm in Garden City.
 
According to detectives, a female victim, 24, was walking in the vicinity of 11th Street and County Seat Drive, when an unknown male placed an I Phone under her dress and took a photograph of her underwear. The victim immediately questioned the subject’s behavior. He pushed the victim and fled on foot.
 
A subsequent investigation, in conjunction with First Precinct Detectives, led to the arrest of Jonathan Vega, 25. 
 
Defendant Vega is charged with Unlawful Surveillance 2nd degree and Harassment 2nd degree. He will be arraigned on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at First District Court, Hempstead.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
