SCPD have arrested Andrea Echevarria of Huntington Station, 33, for stealing $15,000 from her employer.

Huntington Station, NY - September 19, 2017 - Suffolk County Police have arrested a Huntington Station, New York woman for stealing $15,000.
 
Andrea Echevarria stole the personal identifying information of three people from customer records kept by her former employer, Deer Park PTDC, a physical therapy office located at 2103 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, New York. She used the information to open a line of credit, then used the line of credit for cosmetic surgery totaling $15,000.
 
After a nine month investigation by Second Squad detectives and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office, Echevarria, 33, of Huntington Station was arrested and charged with two counts of Identity Theft 1st Degree and one count of Identity Theft 2nd Degree. Echevarria will be held overnight at the Fourth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on September 19.
