Rockville Centre, NY - September 18, 2017 - The Nassau County Police Department reports the arrest of a Uniondale woman at 2:15 am on Sunday, September 17, 2017 in Rockville Centre.
 
According to Police, defendant Alinzon M. Callejas, 37, was observed operating a white colored four door Chrysler Town and Country northbound on S. Long Beach Road in Oceanside at a high rate of speed and failing to maintain the traffic lane. 
 
The Officer effected a Vehicle and Traffic Stop at N. Long Beach Road and Purdy Court in Rockville Centre. The investigation revealed that the defendant’s two male children, ages 7 and 10 years, were passengers located inside the vehicle. The defendant was placed under arrest and the children were released to their father.
 
Defendant Alinzon M. Callejas is charged with two counts of Aggravated Driving while Intoxicated–Leandra’s Law, two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, DWI and multiple VTL violations. The defendant will be arraigned on Sunday, September 17, 2017 in First District Court 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
