The event will run from noon to 4 p.m. in the Bloomingdale’s parking area outside its main entrance. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are welcome to attend with their parents.

North Shore Animal League America will bring its mobile adoption unit and more than two dozen dogs, cats, puppies and kittens for adoption to permanent loving homes. Staff will be available to process adoption applications on site throughout the afternoon.
