NCPD: Bank Robbery in North New Hyde Park

Police are investigating a bank robbery in North New Hyde Park.

North New Hyde Park, NY - September 14, 2014 - The Robbery Squad reports the details of a bank Robbery that occurred on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 9:57 am in North New Hyde Park.
 
According to detectives, an unknown male subject entered TD Bank located at 110 Hillside Avenue and verbally announced a robbery while displaying a revolver to employees.  After obtaining an undetermined amount of US currency, the subject fled on foot southbound on North 1st Street.  The subject is described as a male black, in his 30’s, 6 feet, wearing a red shirt, white painters’ pants, dark baseball cap and sunglasses. There were five employees and two customers inside the bank at the time of the robbery.  There were no reported injuries.
